Marlee Cavitt, a multi-sport standout at John. F Kennedy High in California who has signed to play soccer at Portland, won the girls 100-meter dash final in a wind-legal 11.97 seconds at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Cavitt also ran 12.13 seconds in the prelims earlier in the day, along with contributing to an eighth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 52.18 seconds.
